The ketogenic diet plan for beginners

What is mean by keto?

The ‘keto’ in a ketogenic diet comes from the fact that it allows the body to produce small fuel molecules called “ketones.”

A ketogenic diet is a low-carb diet, which helps you burn your fat more quickly and effectively. Already people have experienced its proven benefits for weight loss, health and performance.
Doctors also used to recommend a keto diet plan for many patients to decrease weight.

These Ketones produced if you eat very few carbs and moderate amounts of protein.

The liver produces a large amount of ketones from fat. These then serve as a fuel source throughout your body.

What to eat on a ketogenic diet?

The important thing in reaching ketosis is to avoid consuming too many carbs. You need to keep carb intake under 50 grams per day of net carbs. The fewer carbs you consume, the more effective it appears to be for reaching ketosis and losing weight. These are some of the recommended foods and recipes where you can stay keto.

Meat:

Meats are low carb, keto-friendly, and organic. As a keto is a high-fat diet and not-high protein, you don’t need to take huge amounts of meat.

Fish and sea food:

Take fatty fish and avoid breading as it contains carbs. Wild-caught fish are also preferable.

Eggs:

Eat eggs like boiled, fried in butter, scrambled as omelets, whatever you want. Buying organic or pastured eggs might be a good option.

Natural fat sauces:

Most of the calories on a keto diet should come from fatty foods. You’ll get much of it from natural sources like meat, fish, eggs, etc. You can also eat high-fat sauces including Bearnaise sauce etc. or garlic butter.

Vegetables:

Prefer vegetables which grow above ground like leafy and green items which include cauliflower, cabbage, avocado, broccoli, and zucchini.

High-fat dairy:

Butter is good, high-fat cheese and high-fat yogurts are preferable.

Drinks:

Water:

This is the best option. Sip it hot like a tea, or add natural flavors like sliced cucumbers, lemons, or limes, etc.

Coffee:

Never add sugar. A small amount of milk is fine.

Tea:

Whether black, green, Orange Pekoe, mint, or herbal is preferable. But never add sugar.
